Epithalon — synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) studied for telomerase activation, circadian rhythm regulation, and cellular aging research in preclinical models. 10mg lyophilized, HPLC + mass spec verified.
Epithalon (also spelled Epitalon) is a synthetic tetrapeptide consisting of four amino acids: Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly. It is the synthetic analog of Epithalamin, a polypeptide extract of the pineal gland originally studied by Russian gerontologist Vladimir Khavinson. The synthetic version has been used in preclinical longevity research since the 1980s.
In preclinical research, Epithalon is studied for its ability to stimulate telomerase activity, regulate melatonin production through the pineal gland, and modulate gene expression patterns associated with cellular aging. It is one of the most extensively studied peptides in Russian longevity research literature.
