How much bacteriostatic water should I add to BPC-157?
For 5mg of BPC-157, add 2.5ml of bacteriostatic water to achieve a concentration of 2mg/ml. This concentration allows for convenient dosing using standard U-100 insulin syringes. Always use bacteriostatic water (containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol) rather than sterile water for multi-dose vials, as it prevents bacterial growth for up to 28 days.
How long do reconstituted peptides last?
Reconstituted peptides typically remain stable for 2-4 weeks when refrigerated at 2-8°C (36-46°F). GHK-Cu is more stable and may last 4-6 weeks. For long-term storage, freeze at -20°C (-4°F) where peptides can remain stable for 3-6 months. Always inspect for precipitation, cloudiness, or color changes before use. Write the reconstitution date on the vial and store in the dark.
What is the difference between mg, mcg, and IU?
mg (milligram): One thousandth of a gram (0.001g). Common for peptide quantities.

mcg (microgram): One millionth of a gram (0.000001g). 1000 mcg = 1 mg. Most common for peptide dosing.

IU (International Unit): A measure of biological activity, not mass. For U-100 insulin syringes, 1ml = 100 IU. The IU markings on your syringe show volume, not weight. This calculator converts your desired mcg dose into the corresponding IU volume on your syringe.
Can I combine multiple peptides in one syringe?
Many researchers administer multiple peptides in the same session, but each peptide should be reconstituted separately in its own vial with the appropriate amount of bacteriostatic water. Only combine peptides in the same syringe immediately prior to administration if your research protocol specifically requires it. Never mix peptides during the reconstitution process as this can affect stability and solubility.
What temperature should I store peptides at?
Lyophilized (powder) peptides: Store at -20°C (freezer) for long-term stability (2+ years) or 2-8°C (refrigerator) for shorter periods (6-12 months). Keep away from light and moisture.
